Serving the Performing Arts Appetite of Chicago’s North Shore

The State-of-the-Art, Award-Winning North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie was designed by Boston-based architect Graham Gund and opened in November 1996. The NSCPAS has hosted performances by Bill Maher, Twyla Tharp Dance Company, Marvin Hamlisch, Bill Cosby, Crystal Gayle, The Capitol Steps, Andrea Marcovicci, and many more, including local talents such as Mike Nussbaum, Jennifer Graham, and Hubbard Street Dance Company, to name a few.

The North Shore Center is home to three resident companies - The Northlight Theatre, Centre East and the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra. In addition, the North Shore Center hosts a variety of regional performing arts and corporate events.
