Reports to Director of Programming and Director of Concerts.

General Overview ~ Theatrical and Live Entertainment Programming Assistant
Assist in all aspects of the Talent Buying / Artistic Programming Process for nine venues nationally. The venues exist in CO, CT, FL, MD, NC, RI. The disciplines are Broadway shows, contemporary concerts, comedy, dance, jazz, country, folk, symphony orchestras, opera, recitals, chamber ensembles, Latin, world, family, education and community outreach.
Assist with:
• Booking and promotions for multiple markets on the East Coast and Colorado
• Track and manage mail, phone, email and interoffice communications
• Maintain contact lists and agency databases, etc
• Research new and existing talent and trends, box office grosses, etc., for available talent in the individual marketplaces.
• Assist with venue avails, offers, contracts, insurance for all venues.
• Track and Manage Ticket Sales Reports for all Venues
• Coordinate & Manage Marketing Information with Venue Marketing Staff
• Conduct information surveys within the industry network
• Assist in other duties as defined.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• An understanding of the Performing Arts Industry.
• Proficient Math Skills
• Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Applications
• Skill, speed, and accuracy in managing details
• Promotionally-minded, creative.
• Self-motivated and deadline oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fluid and busy environment.
• Attentive and responsive to customer service.
