Returning to DPAC for its third engagement, HAMILTON once again drew tens of thousands of guests from across the Triangle and beyond, becoming the highest grossing engagement in the past five years. The four-week engagement was a recordbreaking success, welcoming 85,000 guests and generating a local economic impact of over $7.5 million.

“It’s not every day you get to be a part of something this special,” said Bob Klaus, General Manager of DPAC. “What stands out the most isn’t the records, it’s seeing our theatre full of Broadway fans sharing an unforgettable experience together.”

The economic impact of the four-week engagement of HAMILTON is based on analysis by The Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway industry. This impact is generated by tourism dollars spent at hotels, local restaurants, parking and more.

A revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition, and the dawn of a new nation. HAMILTON is the epic saga that follows the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love, and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation.

The musical is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.
